There are no further details regarding Seth Rogen’s character or the plot of the movie, but the film is expected to revive the iconic and original Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers show. The animated series ran from 1989-1990 and featured Chip and Dale as they launched a detective business called Rescue Rangers with their buddies Gadget Hackwrench, Monterey Jack and Zipper.
